| Explore the mountain like never before during the Evening Snowshoe Tours, which includes snowshoe rentals, guides, chairlift ride to the top of the mountain and a wine and cheese party at the Powderhouse restaurant. Winterfest is a fun event that gives snow enthusiasts of all ages opportunities to experience winter activities such as ice climbing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing and more. Events are hosted at Durango Mountain Resort and sponsored by Backcountry Experience.

Early Season Tune Up Clinic on December 17, 2011. The Mogul Masters Clinic will help novice to zipper line skiers find the best lines and perfect their skills on the bumps -- offered January 28, 2012; February 18, 2012; and March 11, 2012. All ability levels will learn progressive techniques of Tele skiing at the Purgatory Tele Daze Clinic on December 18, 2011; January 14, 2012; and February 7, 2012.
